Jennifer Haley was raised in Clovis, CA. Her love of performing started when she discovered ballet at the age of 8. She then studied various styles of dance such as jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, and ballroom. She earned principal roles with the prestigious Fresno Ballet Company in several shows including Nutcracker and Cinderella.
On scholarship to UC Irvine, Jen triple majored earning B.A's in Biology, Criminology, and Dance. While at Irvine, she was a member of the world renowned hip-hip troupe Kaba Modern who finished 3rd on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. A year after graduation she decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue dance and acting since becoming a dancing forensic scientist didn’t turn out to be as exciting as she once thought.
During her time in Los Angeles she has had the opportunity to travel the world doing what she loves. She has appeared in various music videos, commercials, television shows, and her next debut is in the feature film GUFORS, which will be out later this year. Currently she is dancing with Daurden Contemporary Dance Theater in the Hollywood Fringe Festival in a production called “Bittersweet Love,” and runs HapaFit, her own personal training and juice delivery business during her time away from the glamorous life. If she can continue to make a dollar (holla) for playing dress-up, she has officially made it.
Jen co-founded Falling Apples in 2010 with Khai Dattoli who wrote their first original comedic play entitled, “Beyond All Understanding.” It was clear after the success of their first show that they had created something people responded to, so they decided to form Falling Apples and put on two more original plays by Khai called, “Off White” and “Missing Grace.”
Jen couldn’t be more thrilled by their new production, “Off Book." Excited by the challenge of producing their longest running show to-date, she hopes that Off Book earns consideration for several Los Angeles stage awards.
Jen extends her sincerest appreciation to the loyal fans of Falling Apples for their support.
